Back in 2005 I bought my dream-phone: a Palm Treo 700w from Verizon. It did everything: played mp3s, took 1mp pics, had voice command, and synced with my cal/contacts. I even had the fancy stylus with a built-in pen. It was absolutely amazing, even though I never did end up splurging for a data plan.I had been eying the iPhone for years, but all my wife's fam and friends were on Verizon, so I kept waiting for it to come to Verizon. But it didn't. Then Android started tickling my ears with its enticing interface, free apps, and booming following.
So finally, on Oct 19, 2010, after much anticipation, I received in the mail the Droid2 R2D2. Converting from Palm to Droid was a little like converting from pogo-stick to Tesla Model S. I quickly had over 100 apps downloaded, and am enjoying the ride.
Having been a tech nerd since receiving a Popular Science subscription in 3rd grade, I thought it was time to log my technology experiences, joys, heartaches, and frustrations.
